About the Role
South32 together with WorkPac are commencing recruitment for Dump Truck Operators to promote the equality of its workforce at Groote Eylandt Mining Company (GEMCO) in the Gulf of Carpentaria. Successful candidates will be FIFO from Darwin/Cairns on a 7/7 Roster and be fully committed to a rewarding career in the Mining industry.
What you will be doing
As a member of the GEMCO Production team, you will be operating CAT 777/ 785 Dump Trucks in a mining environment.
You will work 12.25hr shifts on a 7/7 roster (7 on, 7 off) and work both Day and Night shifts and be committed to ongoing, secure employment.
Meet KPI targets within the Manganese Ore production environment
What you will need
- MUST have 12 months production mining experience operating CAT 777 or 789 Dump Trucks
- A residential address within 1hr of Darwin
- A current Open Class Drivers Licence (manual)
- The ability to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol screening
