Position Overview

The Transportation & Logistics Business Analyst (BA) will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders across the business to capture, analyse, and document transportation and logistics requirements. The BA will map these requirements to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) functionality to identify standard capabilities, assess gaps, and determine the level of effort and customisations required.

Key Responsibilities


• Engage with business stakeholders to understand transportation and logistics challenges, processes, and objectives.


• Conduct requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews with clients and internal teams.


• Analyse and document business requirements into structured requirement specifications and functional documents.


• Map business requirements to D365 transportation and logistics modules, identifying areas covered by standard functionality versus those requiring customisation.


• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and process flow diagrams.


• Develop gap-fit analyses and propose solutions that optimise business processes within D365.


• Collaborate with project managers and development teams to ensure requirements are translated into deliverables.


• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management activities.


• Provide ongoing support in post-implementation phases, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
