The role

The primary objective of this position is to ensure that our fleet of prime movers, tankers, light vehicles, and plant is consistently available in a reliable, safe and work ready condition.

Based in Dandenong-VIC, Work Mon-Fri 7.30am - 4.30pm

What you will enjoy doing

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Prime Movers, Tankers, Light Vehicles, and Plant & Machinery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment.
  • Attend to breakdowns and unplanned maintenance requirements in a timely manner.
  • Complete JSAs, Take 5s, Safety Observations, and Hazard Reports in line with company safety standards.
  • Accurately complete all service, repair, and maintenance documentation.
  • Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organised condition.
  • Participate in toolbox meetings, risk assessments, and continuous improvement activities.

What makes you great

  • You hold relevant trade qualification - Heavy Duty Mechanic (essential)
  • Car License (essential), HR License (desirable), MC License (desirable)
  • Dangerous Good License, Forklift High Risk License and Working at heights are desirable.
  • Confined Space Training/Competency (desirable)
  • Current knowledge of industry sector and working practices of heavy-duty plant/vehicle maintenance and repair
