About the role

This full-time leadership role will see you at the forefront of operations in our brand-new, high-tech packing facility. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing a packing line and leading a team to meet production goals, deliver high-quality results, and maintain a strong team culture.

What you will be doing

  • Lead and support your own team of packing team members and a Leading Hand
  • Manage rostering, hours, and team performance
  • Drive efficiency and accuracy in meeting customer orders and KPIs
  • Coach and develop your team to grow within their roles
  • Plan and collaborate with other leaders across the packing operation
  • Troubleshoot packing equipment and resolve day-to-day line issues
  • Ensure all quality and hygiene standards are met

What will you bring to the role

  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to motivate and influence people from all backgrounds
  • High attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (especially Outlook & Excel)
  • Experience working on a production line (a bonus)
  • A hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused attitude
