The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Redeployment / Return to Work Consultant to join our Redeployment team. This role provides specialist advice and case management support to employees impacted by organisational change and/or workplace injury, ensuring fair, compliant, and compassionate transition outcomes.

The position plays a key role in supporting employee wellbeing while meeting organisational and legislative obligations. You will work collaboratively with Workforce Relations, HR Business Partners, and internal and external stakeholders to deliver best practice redeployment and return-to-work services aligned with the organisation's change vision.

Educational Qualifications/ Licences

  • Qualifications in Human Resources, psychology or coaching, and/or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and experience is desirable.

Special Conditions

  • A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
  • Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

Tenure of Vacancy

  • One ongoing position
  • One temporary appointment up to 12 months

Remuneration

ASO6 - $98,478 to $104,165 pa + superannuation.
