We're looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to take the lead in our busy automotive workshop.
This role suits a natural leader who takes pride in a smooth-running workshop, enjoys mentoring technicians, and thrives on delivering high-quality work — on time and on budget.
What the role involves- Allocating jobs and managing daily workflow for efficiency and output
- Supporting and coaching the technician team to maintain high standards
- Communicating clearly with the front office and customers
- Overseeing quality control, WHS, and workshop performance
- Managing parts, suppliers, and job costing
- Keeping the workshop professional, safe, and well-organised
- Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Foreman, or Senior Technician ready to step up
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair processes
- Confident using workshop management software and digital job tracking
- A calm, proactive leader who sets the pace and standard for the team
- $110,000 to $125,000 + performance incentives (depending on experience)
- Full-time position based in Redcliffe, QLD
