Applications are invited for the role of Program Leader – Service Learning. This is a full-time role commencing in 2026.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Mt St Michael's College is a Catholic girls' school of 900 students (Years situated in the leafy avenues of Ashgrove, 5 kms from the CBD. The College maintains a tradition of academic excellence, extensive co-curricular activities, and student wellbeing programs across the College.

Mt St Michael's College embodies the charism of the Sisters of Charity and seeks to carry forward their legacy of advocacy and care for the poor and marginalised, living authentically and humbly in faith and love. As our students grow, we wish for them to understand more deeply the world they live in and the Gospel's call to loving service.

As our mission and service programs continue to expand, an exciting opportunity has emerged for an innovative, passionate justice educator to join our team as a full-time Program Leader - Service Learning.  This is a Middle Leadership position with responsibilities for the organisation and execution of the College's service learning and community service programs.

The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:

·       a passion for social justice and advocacy work with young people.

·       excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents/caregivers, staff and external providers.

This role has a teaching component.

THE SELECTION CRITERIA

SC1 – An understanding of and commitment to the aims of Catholic Education and the mission, vision and values of Mt St Michael's College.

SC2     Demonstrated experience in social justice and advocacy work with young people.

SC3     Demonstrated excellence in teaching with extensive knowledge of contemporary pedagogies as they relate to the education of girls.

SC4     Demonstrated excellence in integrating digital technology into a contemporary learning environment.

SC5     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents/carers and staff within a high-performing College culture.
