What you will be doing· Assist their on -site manager with installation, reading and interpreting drawings / specifications, programming, testing, and commissioning of various electrical and cabling systems across commercial building sites and premises.· Work with a team of Tradesmen and Project Managers to successfully deliver electrical and communications projects in accordance with Company standards and to meet project timeframes.· Follow relevant codes and industry standards which govern electrical installation and maintenance.· Demonstrate competence in establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, colleagues, and managers of the Company.· Effectively manage administrative requirements including call reports and time sheets.· Attend shifts as per roster requirements.· Demonstrate aptitude with electrical and mechanical tools.· Understand written information and instructions and correspond clearly and concisely.· Understand inventory stock components used in the process of work and ensure parts are correctly booked out to the task.· Other duties as directed by your supervisor. RequirementsWhat you need· Australian Citizenship· Willingness to obtain an NV1 Defence Clearance through AGSVA· Pre -apprenticeship Certificate II in Electrotechnology (required).· Construction induction card (required).· Current Australian driver's license (required).· Own vehicle (required).· Year 12 (required).· Proficient in English and Mathematics.· Other qualifications as appropriate.· Some prior work experience in a trade or customer service role is beneficial but not mandatory.· Ability to climb a ladder.· Ability to do overtime and shift work when required.· Ability to do work away from home / living remotely when required.· Ability to pass a national police and medical check.
