Overview of the role

Applications are now open for the position of Apprentice Mentor in the Services Department for Electrical trades at Nyrstar Port Pirie.

The Apprentice Mentor will play a crucial role in ensuring that apprentices receive adequate leadership, guidance, training, and ongoing support. The mentor will maintain high standards while providing guidance on training and technical matters to enhance the capabilities of both the apprentices and the apprentice program. Responsibilities include the establishment, implementation, and administration of training programs, development of systems, records management, and documentation of procedures.

This is a residential role based in Port Pirie, South Australia, with a Monday to Friday roster. This schedule allows you to enjoy your lifestyle with family and friends while building a successful career.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Trade certificate Electrical - essential
• Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training or similar would be highly regarded
