Workshop Foreman

Alzino & Co Pty Ltd are seeking a highly experienced Workshop Foreman / Supervisor to join our management team and oversee operations in our workshop and maintenance division.

This role is ideal for someone with 10+ years' experience in the heavy earthmoving industry, strong leadership skills, and proven ability in both people and program management.

Alzino & Co is a family-owned and operated civil earthmoving company with over 50 years of experience in the Moreton Bay Region. We pride ourselves on our knowledge, reliability, and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.

The successful applicant will have extensive experience working with Caterpillar systems and technology, along with a strong background in maintaining a diverse fleet of Caterpillar heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the repair, maintenance, and testing of Caterpillar machinery, including bulldozers, excavators, compactors, dump trucks, backhoes, rollers, on-road trucks (light & heavy), utes, pumps, and crushing equipment.
• Lead and support the workshop team of diesel fitters, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
• Liaise with Civil Site Supervisors regarding plant movements, equipment status, and maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate with Field Service Units for onsite repairs and servicing.
• Work closely with the Workshop Superintendent to manage ordering, programming, and coding of parts and materials.
• Undertake hands-on repair and maintenance duties when required.

• Monday to Friday: 6:30am – 4:30pm
• Saturday (as required): 6:30am – 12:00pm
