What's involved – Provide support to the Central West Hospital and Health Service Asset & Procurement Manager, to ensure compliance with contracts and procurement governance, and facilitating effective oversight of supplier contracts, including assistance to Contract Manager's with contract execution, contract amendment and contract extensions.
The role will require a hands-on approach, where the individual will be responsible for delivering optimal outcomes through the effective sourcing, purchasing, and procuring of goods and services in accordance with organisational policies and procedures realising best value for money.
The role will be key in delivering S/4HANA system support and training to end users within the HHS, including Financial Delegate training to the HHS Executive, Managers and Team leaders.
Developing and implementing efficient policies and procedures that deliver the Health Service objectives, while appropriately managing risk and value will be required.
The Procurement & Contract Officer may be required to participate in the on-call roster in accordance with scheduled and approved roster cycles for after-hours breakdowns and repairs.
