Overview

Our client is delivering a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program and seeks a hands-on Integration Specialist with proven experience in SAP Integration Suite, Solace event streaming, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) integrations.

This position suits someone who understands end-to-end integration patterns, can work closely with architects and developers, and isn't afraid to get hands-on — building, debugging, and optimising interfaces and event flows across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver integration solutions across SAP, AEM, and enterprise systems using SAP Integration Suite, Solace, and API Management technologies.
  • Develop, test, and deploy integration flows (iFlows), APIs, and event-based messaging solutions.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to design event-driven integration patterns and reusable frameworks.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Solace PubSub+ event brokers.
  • Support real-time and asynchronous integration between SAP S/4HANA, AEM, and other digital platforms.
  • Work closely with developers and business analysts to translate business needs into technical integration solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integration artefacts — interface catalogues, design documents, and technical diagrams.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, promote DevOps practices, and ensure integration pipelines are robust and repeatable.

Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years in IT with a strong focus on system integration in large, complex environments.
  • 5+ years' experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh).
  • Hands-on experience with Solace PubSub+ or equivalent event streaming middleware.
  • Proven experience integrating AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) with backend ERP or commerce systems.
  • Good understanding of event-driven architecture, REST APIs, OData, JSON, and webhooks.
  • Ability to work closely with architects while remaining hands-on with configuration and build.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or GCP preferred).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable

  • Exposure to retail, merchandise, or marketing systems integration.
  • Experience with SAP Event Mesh, Graph, and API Gateway.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps delivery practices.
  • Awareness of AEM architecture and content delivery pipelines.
  • TOGAF or equivalent EA certification is a plus.
