About the Role

We're looking for a dynamic Business Systems Analyst to lead innovation across our application portfolio. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to design and implement impactful solutions—from reengineering business processes to optimizing system performance. Your analytical expertise will be key in translating business needs into smart, scalable technology outcomes that elevate operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

As a leader within the Digital Technology Solutions team, you'll guide the daily operations of the application group, ensuring tasks are prioritized effectively and challenges are resolved swiftly. Partnering with the Digital Solution Manager, you'll also play a vital role in mentoring team members, collaborating with the DSM to align team priorities, and fostering a culture of continuous growth and development. About You

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

•    Collaborate with the Digital Solution Manager to align team priorities with the broader IT and business portfolio strategy and roadmap. 

•    Under broad direction plan and coordinate staff across functional teams to meet demand and deliver outcomes within defined constraints such as cost, priorities, service standards and available resources

•    Ensure priorities are clearly understood and team members are familiar with the processes to manage those priorities. 

•    Develop the business requirements working closely with the business stakeholders and translate them into technical and functional specifications

•    Map the requirements to the systems and platform functionality and develop artifacts related with solution design. 

•    In collaboration with the Digital Solution Manager, collect business feedback on the service; report on results and implement action plans for continuous improvement.

•    Comply with Swinburne ITSM policies and procedures aligned to the ITIL framework. This includes but is not limited to Incident Management, Service Request Fulfilment, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management and Continuous Improvement.

Qualifications

•    Relevant qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

•    COBIT/ TOGAF/CBAP/PM certification
