About the Opportunity

AWX is partnering with a leading national building materials supplier to recruit MR/HR Drivers in Townsville. This is a stable, long-term opportunity for drivers who want regular hours and the chance to work with a respected business that services commercial clients across the region.

You'll be more than just a driver you'll be a trusted face of the business, ensuring building products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.

What You'll Do

  • Drive MR or HR trucks to deliver building materials across Townsville and surrounds
  • Safely load and unload deliveries using forklifts and manual handling techniques
  • Complete vehicle pre-start checks and maintain safe operating standards
  • Provide excellent customer service on every delivery
  • Support warehouse and yard operations when required

What You'll Need

  • Current MR or HR truck licence (essential)
  • Current forklift licence (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and functional assessment
  • Reliability, safety focus, and strong work ethic

Benefits

  • Consistent work: 38 hrs/week, MondayFriday (8:00 am 4:00 pm)
