About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting infrastructure development that impacts your community? In this role, you'll assist in the coordination and delivery of urban rail projects, from concept through to commissioning. As a key contributor, you will provide essential project controls support in cost, resource management, and reporting, while also managing low-risk projects to support the ongoing expansion and maintenance of the public transport network. This is a dynamic role working closely with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
You will be involved in developing and maintaining project budgets, cost breakdowns, and reports, and play an important role in contract administration—preparing briefs, evaluating tenders and cost estimating. If you're looking to build your experience on critical infrastructure projects and thrive in a collaborative, outcomes-driven environment, this role offers an excellent opportunity to do just that.
About You
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Relevant technical expertise, including a general understanding of project controls such as cost, resource management, and reporting; as well as project and contract management principles.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating large infrastructure development projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team, build effective relationships, and negotiate or resolve conflicts as needed.
- Well-developed conceptual and analytical skills to support effective problem-solving and decision-making in a project environment.
