Your part in our UnitingCare team
The Early Childhood Approach (ECA) service works as a Partner in the Community delivering the NDIS, supporting children and their families up to the age of 9 years, who have a disability, developmental delay or concern.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll contribute to the efficient delivery of the Early Childhood Approach (ECA), by performing a range of administrative and financial functions to support the service's management and operational team.
Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Be the first point of contact for the ECA service for both families and other stakeholders across four service areas, including management of incoming phone calls and inbox enquiries.
- Prepare reports and other documentation and maintain databases and other recording/information systems.
- Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, performance planning and
professional development
What makes a difference for us?
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Services, Social Science, Business and/or relevant experience, expertise and competence attained through previous service or study sufficient to perform duties at this level.
- Current Drivers License
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- NDIS Worker Screening
- Demonstrated ability to apply professional knowledge and initiative to administrative support practices and procedures.
- Sound organisational skills with the ability to respond to changing priorities in a busy, Family focused office environment.
- Demonstrated competence in the day to day use of Microsoft Office Software, in particular Word and Excel.
- Well-developed problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with people at all levels in a variety of situations.
- Must be eligible to legally work in Australia
