We are seeking professional and experienced Mental Health Clinical Nurse (Level 2) to join our clinical intake/admissions team at Aurora Health - Abbotsford Private Hospital.

The Intake/Admissions Officer for our hospital will manage patient admissions by conducting initial assessments and gathering essential information. This role involves collaborating closely with doctors and healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation and seamless care transitions while providing compassionate support to patients and their families throughout the intake process.

This is a permanent full-time contract whereby you will be working Monday to Friday (business hours). In this role you will be reporting to the Level 3 and working alongside the other Level 2 nurses, and work within a supportive and friendly team.

To be successful in this role you will be a positive and compassionate team player who brings excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively to meet your responsibilities. You will also hold:

  • Relevant registration with APHRA
  • Post-graduate experience in clinical Mental Health is preferred
  • Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to nursing practice

Abbotsford Private Hospital is owned by Aurora Health and is a dual diagnosis addiction/mental health facility.

  • Must be up to date in their vaccination requirements
  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 3 months
