About the role

This is a full-time role at the Damage Control Accident Repair Centre located in Forrestdale, WA 6112. As an Estimator, you will play a vital role in the accident repair process, providing accurate and comprehensive estimates to our customers. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience for all.

What you'll be doing

  1. Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare detailed estimates for repair costs
  2. Liaise with customers, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure all repair information is accurately documented
  3. Collaborate with the repair team to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, repair methods, and new technologies
  5. Provide excellent customer service and manage customer expectations throughout the repair process
  6. Assist with the administrative tasks related to the estimating process

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as an Estimator or in a similar role within the automotive repair industry
  2. Excellent understanding of vehicle repair methods, parts, and pricing
  3. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and comprehensive estimates
  4. Proficient in using estimating software and tools
  5. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  6. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other departments
  7. Commitment to providing high-quality work and exceeding customer expectations
