About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team at Pro vision constructions' in Essendon, VIC. This is a full-time position where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your carpentry skills alongside experienced professionals in the industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist experienced carpenters with a variety of construction and renovation tasks
  2. Learn how to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
  3. Develop skills in the use of hand and power tools
  4. Learn how to measure, cut, and install various building materials
  5. Participate in all aspects of carpentry, framing (steel and timber), lockup and fix, cladding, decks and pergolas etc
  6. Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Strong interest and passion for the carpentry trade
  2. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  3. Willingness to learn and follow instructions
  4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  5. Commitment to safety and a positive attitude
  6. Previous experience in construction or woodworking is an advantage, but not essential
