• Higher Education Officer Level 8 | $113,677 - $125,848 pa plus 17% super

About the Position:

Flinders University is seeking a dynamic and strategic Practice Manager to lead the Flinders University Psychology Clinic (FUPC) into an exciting new era. You will drive the clinic's day-to-day operations while playing a pivotal role in its transformation and expansion into the state-of-the-art Flinders HealthCARE Centre. This high-impact role combines operational leadership, innovation, and strategic planning to deliver world-class clinical services and work-integrated learning opportunities for students.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading strategic growth, service expansion, and work-integrated learning initiatives.
• Overseeing the implementation of digital systems to enhance client management and student onboarding.
• Driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting to ensure sustainable operations.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to foster innovation and operational excellence.

About You

You are an experienced leader with a proven track record in clinical, health, or academic operations. A skilled collaborator and strategic thinker, you bring strong project management, communication, and financial management expertise.

Key capabilities include:

• Strong understanding of clinical governance, client service systems, and business transformation initiatives.
• Expertise in business planning, financial management, and growth modelling.
• Experience in funding acquisition and service development, including grant applications and budgeting.

• A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will also be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.   
• It is a requirement of this position that the incumbent maintain a current Working With Children Check which is satisfactory to the University in accordance with the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA).
