Landscaper / Pool All-Rounder — Studying or Qualified | Ute + Tools Required

Role Overview

You'll work across pool and landscape scopes on high-end residential projects, taking ownership of set-out, levels, formwork/reo, surrounds, paving, planting, and assisting with pool pre-plumb, filtration, heating and automation installs. You'll uphold Zgrada's quality standards, safety, and site presentation while collaborating with a tight, supportive crew.

Key Responsibilities

Pool Construction

  • Formwork and steel fixing/tying for concrete pools (in-house team)
  • Pre-plumb, pipe runs, equipment pad set-out and mounting
  • Install & assist commissioning of filtration, heating, and automation
  • Pressure testing, valve/line labelling, and basic concreting/coping support

Landscaping

  • Stone/porcelain paving, coping, retaining walls, timber features
  • Drainage and irrigation setup, soil prep, planting, turfing, mulching
  • Site set-out & levels; operate and maintain small tools/plant (e.g., compactor)

Quality, Safety & Coordination

  • Read plans and follow programs to meet milestones
  • Keep sites tidy and compliant with WHS requirements
  • Communicate proactively with supervisors and teammates; report progress and issues early
Skills & Experience
  • Studying Cert III in Landscape Construction or already qualified (both welcome)
  • Hands-on experience in either pool surrounds, paving/stonework, or basic hydraulics preferred
  • Confident with hand/power tools; bonus if you've used mini-exc/posi and laser levels
  • Eye for detail, reliable, and eager to learn pool systems end-to-end
Must Haves
  • Ute and your own tools
  • White Card, current driver's licence, full Australian work rights
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in workmanship
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with pool equipment (Waterco/Pentair/EvoHeat or similar)
  • Rebar tying, formwork carpentry, stone/porcelain cutting
  • Basic commissioning/pressure testing knowledge
