What's the gig?

Our Aquatics team at WhiteWater Worldare searching for motivated, energetic and outgoing team players to join us on a seasonal casual basis.

The role of a Lifeguard is to maintain the safe and efficient operation of the water park attractions and water slides whilst providing exceptional service to our guests. Don't worry if you're new to the workforce or looking for your first job—this is a great opportunity to dive in We'll set you up with accredited training to gain your International Lifeguard Qualification.

As a Lifeguard, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring a safe environment for our guests
• Applying First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation - certification required prior to start date
• Carrying out all tasks in accordance with standard policies and procedures
• Provision of exceptional Guest Service

**This position requires a valid paid Queensland Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000. Under the 'No Card, No Start' requirements, successful candidates must hold this clearance before commencing employment.

What do we need from you?

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure in an environment with high peak periods and varying workloads, while working as part of a cohesive team. Proven ability to swim 200 metres continuously and perform 2-minute tread without using your hands. A high level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual duties. Flexibility is crucial, as shifts will be scheduled on weekends and during peak school and public holiday periods. A positive attitude is a must
