Born out of a protest movement, Aboriginal Legal Service is the primary legal service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in NSW and the ACT. We deliver free, culturally appropriate legal advice, representation, information, and referrals for thousands of people each year. Our organization is nationally recognized for its strong advocacy and law reform work, ensuring that our services meet the needs of our community effectively.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Facilities and Fleet Supervisor located in Sydney, NSW, with some work from home flexibility. The Facilities and Fleet Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing fleet operations and management, supervising staff, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring effective communication within the team. The role will also involve implementing operational policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet and facilities.

Qualifications

  • Supervisory Skills: Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Fleet Operations and Fleet Management: Experience in coordinating and managing fleet activities
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintenance: Knowledge and experience in coordinating maintenance activities
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with the needs and cultural considerations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
