Estia Health Yarra Valley
is an elegant home with stunning mountain views, sitting on a quiet residential street in easy walking distance of Yarra Junction Shopping Centre, services and cafes. The home has strong links to the local community and a warm, friendly team, many of whom have been at the home a number of years. The experienced clinicians, carers and hospitality teams look after all aspects of a resident's care, including clinical, social and overall wellbeing, and offer dementia care services, which can be accessed for short-term respite care or a longer stay. The home's Memory Support Unit provides a safe environment for residents requiring additional support.

Estia Health Yarra Valley is located close to Yarra Junction (Yarra Valley/Regional Victoria) which is around 45 mts drive from Ringwood and 30 mts drive from Lilydale.

About the role

Estia Health Yarra Valley (Yarra Junction) is seeking an
experienced Residential Aged Care Manager
with a strong clinical background, who can a make a major difference in the lives of our residents by leading our aged care home towards operational excellence

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, and as the 'head of' the home, you'll lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional care and creating a warm, supportive environment for residents, families, and staff. This is a rewarding leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact—driving quality care, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring the smooth operation of our home.

In this role you will:

• Find the best way forward for our residents and people.
• Run a tight ship - maintaining efficiency and operational safety.
• Keep the lights on and making sure revenue targets are met.
• Inspire your team to perform and grow.
• Build ties with the community to everyone's benefit.

You'll be a strong business leader with commercial acumen and a generous style of management. You'll also have:

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Spent at least five years in a management role
• A background in aged or medical care
• Worked with a number of different systems
