Join our small and dedicated accounts team in Carrington, supporting our National businesses to monitor and manage accounts receivable and collections, processing bank transactions and assisting in the wider accounts team responsibilities. The role provides an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable clerk to diversify with responsibilities in other accounting disciplines.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for:

• Daily processing of direct bank receipts and bank reconciliations

• Monitor and manage customer accounts including accurate processing and allocation of payments and credits

• Coordinate and work collaboratively with Customer Service and Sales to reconcile customer accounts

• Prepare positive and effective outbound collection communication

• Review and recommend action for accounts trading outside credit terms

• Management and Review of customer credit applications with relevant supporting information

• Process and review Expense reports to ensure accuracy of account allocations

• Provide support and back up for Accounts Payable and General Accounts as necessary

• Other accounting functions to support the department as required

Key Skills and Experience Required:

• Relevant experience greater than 3 years or Certificate/TAFE qualifications in bookkeeping

• Exceptional customer service skills

• High level of attention to detail with a passion for completing quality work to the right standard within deadlines

• Intermediate experience in desktop software. Earp Bros operates using the Google Suite of programs (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, etc)

• Working knowledge of ERP software programs. Earp Bros operates on Oracle NetSuite

• The ability to work in a team environment as well as working autonomously
