We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Specialist to join our Group Finance team

POSITION OVERVIEW

We're seeking an experienced Finance Systems specialist to join our Group Finance team. The role partners closely with Finance, IT and a range of business stakeholders and external vendors to maintain and evolve systems and tools to drive business performance, efficiency and compliance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Serve as product owner for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP and other key finance applications
  • Support the Finance team with systems migration, change and automation initiatives
  • Provide day-to-day user support and partner with IT and vendors on escalated or complex issues, minimising business disruption
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work with IT or vendors to implement system changes.
  • Perform data validation, integrity checks, and root cause analysis for finance system-related issues
  • Lead and support testing efforts for new functionalities, integrations, and patches
  • Deliver training and adoption initiatives to build user capability and confidence and maintain system documentation
  • Stay across product updates and manage system roadmaps to support continuous improvement

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree qualified in accounting, finance, information systems or related field.
  • 3 -5 years experience in finance systems analysis, systems account or ERP support
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, financial business processes and appropriate control, compliance and reporting obligations.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central software required
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft PowerBi
  • Solutions-focused with a collaborative and approachable style
  • Experience in a large, dynamic business environment. Multi-entity group experience preferred.
