Big Springs Water is a locally owned, Riverina based, spring water business which has been operating since 1994. Big Springs delivers premium spring water to homes, offices and warehouses throughout the Riverina and beyond. The Big Springs team are enthusiastic, flexible and dedicated to our customers.
The Role:
We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and committed individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver/Production Team Member. This dual role is ideal for someone who enjoys working both on the road and in a production environment.
You will play a key role in:
- Ensuring our valued customers receive their premium spring water on time, and
- Supporting the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of production equipment to uphold high product quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience in deliveries and manufacturing environments, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Duties:
- Delivering premium spring water to our valued customers
- Recording transactions using a handheld device, reconciling daily deliveries, and handling cash (where required)
- Loading stock into the delivery vehicle and ensuring accurate and timely deliveries
- Maintaining the delivery vehicle to ensure it is clean, safe, and in top working condition
Production Duties:
- Operating bottling production lines as part of a team
- Performing manual handling tasks including lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, and reaching
- Cleaning and maintaining production equipment
- Keeping the production area clean and well-organised
- Adhering to company and OH&S policies and procedures
- Wearing appropriate PPE and following all safety protocols
- Loading and unloading vehicles as required
- Maintaining accurate records using both electronic and paper-based systems
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
- Meeting production targets and deadlines
- Collaborating with management and operations to deliver the highest standard of service
To Be Considered, You Will Need:
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- The ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently, accurately, and systematically
- A strong work ethic – motivated, dependable, and punctual
- A verifiable work history with references
- A valid Forklift Licence (essential)
- A valid Driver's Licence (MR essential)
- Physical fitness and ability to regularly lift 25kg+
- A commitment to workplace safety and customer satisfaction
