Your New Opportunity:

Due to significant growth within our business an excellent career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Wacol. You will be responsible for the performance of the branch's truck sales department by mentoring and managing a team of sales professionals and leading and delivering high level business strategy to ensure the efficient growth of the business.

  • Manage the sales team to achieve truck sales budgets and develop and maintain a strong customer base.
  • Drive the Sales team performance to exceed expectation of truck sales targets.
  • Provide technical expertise on products and specifications to sales staff and customers during the sales and quoting process, with consideration to the operating environment and environmental regulations.
  • Manage and maintain a customer base and retails sales.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enter new markets, expand customer base & grow market share.
  • Manage the advertising process for products including presentation of vehicle, author descriptions and organise photography.
  • Ensure customer truck handover is conducted professionally and exceeds the expectations of our customer, our business & our people.

About You:

  • Strong knowledge of On Highway industry or other high value capital equipment industries
  • Sound experience in Sales management and developing a Sales business unit.
  • Sound experience with budgeting/cost control and financial/commercial transactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and competing priorities effectively.
  • High level communication, negotiation, relationship building and presentation skills.
  • Leadership and coaching skills, with a focus upon engaging sales teams.
  • Strong customer focus.
