About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Data Modeller
to lead the consolidation and migration of complex, large-scale data environments. This role involves working across legacy platforms, ensuring semantic consistency, and enabling accurate, high-performance target models.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Model Consolidation

  • Assess and document legacy data models across various platforms.
  • Map legacy structures to modern target models with a focus on performance and semantic alignment.

2. Migration Support

  • Partner with architects, ETL teams, and business analysts to design source-to-target mappings.
  • Contribute to migration blueprints, data lineage, and validation processes.
  • Ensure migrated datasets align fully with the target model.

3. Governance & Standards

  • Apply enterprise data governance best practices.
  • Maintain metadata repositories and support data catalog initiatives.
  • Participate in model review and approval workflows.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with business SMEs to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable data models.
  • Provide model usage guidance and training to technical teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in
    data modeling
    for large-scale migration or transformation programs.
  • Expertise with
    data modeling tools
    (e.g., Erwin).
  • Strong grasp of
    relational
    ,
    dimensional
    , and
    NoSQL
    modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with
    Informatica
    or similar integration tools (advantageous).
  • Banking/financial services domain experience (preferred).
  • Understanding of
    data governance
    ,
    metadata management
    , and
    data quality
    principles.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
