Job Description
How you'll be making an impact in people's lives:
- Undertaking Occupational Rehabilitation assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments
- Undertaking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans
- Designing and implementing intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity
- Identifying barriers and designing, implementing and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation
- Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals
- Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
Qualifications
What you bring to the role?
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy
- Registration with either AHPRA or ESSA
- A genuine desire to make a measurable impact in people's lives.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
- A customer first mindset with a focus on quality outcomes.
- Confidence working independently in the community.
- Driver's licence and vehicle required.
- Eligibility for a working with children's check and police clearance.
