About the client...

This is an incredibly rare opportunity to join one of Australia's most prestigious tier 1 corporate commercial law firms They have an outstanding reputation for providing strategic legal and commercial advice to a diverse range of Australian and international businesses, corporations high-net worth individuals and large family businesses. 

In this role, you will be key member of their Corporate Services team, which enjoys very low staff turnover, and is known for their strong support and collaboration. This role is offered on a full or part-time (3 or 4 days per week) basis. 

About the role...

Our client is looking for a highly driven and experienced lawyer inWills/Estates & Probate matters. Here you will have a good level of autonomy in assisting clients with their wills/estates & probate matters and enjoy the direct client contactthis role offers, with the support of a highly professional & experienced team, all of whom are friendly and approachable You will be apivotal member of this team working together to ensure that their clients achieve their desired outcomes.

Your main duties will include:

  • Managing your own files in wills & probate, including estate administration, from start to finish;
  • Drafting of advices & all supporting documentation;
  • Attending mediations;
  • Investing Trust Funds and distributing pursuant to special requests;
  • The provision of outstanding client care and technically sound & efficient advice;
  • Liaising with other Lawyers and various key stakeholders;

About you….

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Current solid 3+ years experience in Wills & Probate law;
  • Be a self-starter with a friendly, pro-active team approach;
  • Possess excellent communication skills at all levels and a strong 'client care/service' focus;
  • Be able to multi task to manage competing priorities;
  • Complementary skills in relation to trusts and corporate matters or superannuation, or will be eager to be trained in these areas over time.
