With 75 kindergartens and early learning services across Melbourne, our team of 1000 dedicated people work together to create safe, joyful, and enriching experiences for 7,500 children every week. We are seeking an enthusiastic Certificate III Educator to join our team at Maribyrnong River Children's Centre.
Located in the heart of vibrant and culturally diverse Maribyrnong, Maribyrnong River Children's Centre delivers high quality and inclusive early learning and care – with a natural outdoor play space. Our team of nurturing and experienced educators will partner with you to develop a play-based educational program that helps your child realise their potential.
Incursions, excursions, nutritious meals and nappies are included within our daily childcare fee, which means there are no hidden costs for families.
This is a fulltime position working 38 hours per week, with a monthly RDO
About you
- You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference.
- You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child.
- You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member.
- You have a drive to grow and improve continually.
- You value kindness and respect.
- You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations.
- You hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a WWCC and a first aid certificate.
About the role
- You'll create a safe and supportive environment where children can learn and grow.
- You'll develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on the ECMS pedagogical framework.
- You'll build strong relationships with children, families, the community and colleagues.
- You'll actively participate in a culture of reflection and continuous improvement.
