Motor Mechanic

Narangba Autos is seeking a Mechanic for our family owned and RACQ approved workshop.

We provide Mechanical services such as Vehicle Servicing, General repairs, air-conditioning repairs and Safety Certificates on a wide range of vehicles.

We are seeking a mechanic who is trade qualified to join our friendly team at Narangba Autos. A high standard of Customer service with integrity is our ethos. We have a strong standing in the local community with a high recommendation rate and return customers some of which have been with us for over 20 years.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated and pride themselves on providing high quality workmanship. This job is for you if you are looking for advancement in your career, and a supportive work environment.

Role and Responsibility

  • Experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic with minimum 5 years experience
  • Complete a range of log book servicing and repairs efficiently
  • Utilise skills and knowledge to diagnose a range of vehicles
  • Fitting and balancing Tyres and performing Wheel Alignments
  • Work autonomously with limited management supervision
  • Identify methods and Parts required for efficient and safe repairs

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Current Trade level Certificate III or IV in Vehicle Repairs
  • Good organisation and clear communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High work ethics and ability to produce high quality workmanship
  • Knowledge of and ability to comply to WHS obligations and relevant workplace policies.
  • Sound level of physical ability and fitness appropriate for the role
  • Team player and willing to assist in all aspects of the workshop
  • Current manual driver's licence
  • Extensive diagnostic skills and ability to work without direction
  • Experience meeting efficiency targets
  • Needs to be living in Australia and be an Australian citizen
