We are seeking a passionate and multi-talented mechatronic engineer to work on cutting edge scientific instruments for DNA analysis. The role requires expertise across a broad range of disciplines including electronics, firmware, software and mechanical design.  The available role is full time, on site at our facility at Yatala - only 25 minutes from Brisbane.

You will be working with a small team of engineers and scientists to develop revolutionary new products, complete existing projects and support the production team. Knowledge and skills in the following disciplines are highly desirable:

  • Robotics Design
  • Mechanical design
  • Analog and digital electronics design
  • Control systems for motor and temperature control
  • Production engineering
  • Technical documentation
  • Firmware development in C languages
  • PC software development using .NET languages
  • System level design and integration
  • Automated Pipetting/Liquid Handling

You will also have the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in the field of molecular biology.

Candidates should have a Bachelor of Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering degree.

Only Australian citizens and permanent residents will be considered for the role.
