About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Drainer to join our construction team at Rathcoole Group. The role involves the installation, repair and maintenance of drainage systems for residential, commercial and civil infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on position requiring physical fitness, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sewer, stormwater drainage and services pipework installation.
  • Laying pipes to correct grade and alignment (first time).
  • Monitor and assist with trench excavation for installation of pipe works.
  • Liaising and receiving direction from the Leading Hand and Project Manager
  • Working to achieve continuous improvement in efficiency, safety and quality/environmental excellence.
  • Actively communicate and promote Rathcoole Group l values and commitments.

Requirements:

  • Experience in stormwater, sewerage, water, and gas underground infrastructure
  • Ability to excavate trenches safely and efficiently
  • Confidence reading pipe laying drawings and completing work to high standards
  • A valid Australian driver's license and reliable transport
  • A White Card
  • Full Australian working rights
