About the role

M&B Excavations is seeking an experienced civil plumber/drainer to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who have hands-on experience with in-ground work, including the installation of stormwater, drainage systems, subsoil drainage, sewers, and various construction projects.

(We are also seeking motivated labourers and aspiring drainers to join our team. If you have experience in this field and wish to learn more about the role, please apply.

What You'll Be Doing

  • - Installing and repairing plumbing systems in civil projects

  • -Installation of various underground services

  • - Collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and the wider team to ensure all projects are completed to a high standard

  • - Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and company policies

  • - Maintaining accurate records and providing detailed job reports

What We're Looking For

  • - Proven experience as a civil plumber/Drainer within the construction and civil industry

  • - Strong understanding of civil plumbing systems

  • - Minimum 2 years of experience in the civil industry

  • - Valid mobile plant operating tickets

  • - White card certification

  • - Ability to read and interpret plans

  • - Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

  • - Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • - Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • - Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

  • - Physically fit and able to work in various environments and conditions
