We have a new position available for a contractor housekeeper/ cleaner to join our team and live on Moreton Island,  Start asap.

The position is suitable for an experienced housekeeper/cleaner to work on Moreton Island for rostered work days either on a contractor basis holding a current active ABN, position is with a view of continuous contract work.  Or can be employed as a casual staff member. Applicants must be able to stay on island for the days of their working shift which will be 5 -6 days a week, Monday to Sunday. Must have a current ABN.This position is not suitable for anyone with children or pets.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years housekeeping/cleaning, making beds, experience to join our team.

To fill this position we are looking for a person who is motivated, shows attention to detail, hard working, knows high standard cleaning, thinks outside the square and will go the extra mile for our guests with simply excellent service and would like to live on Moreton Island.

Applicants must speak and understand english and be able to work in Australia. No travellers / no 88 days and no work visa's or sponsorship. We require a new team member who can give us at least 1-2 years permanent working and living on Moreton Island.

Position is monday to friday 5-6 days a week with some weekend work when required. Successful candidates, will be offered accommodation in a share house in Tangalooma at $185.00 per week payable by candidate.

Key jobs will be:

Cleaning holiday rental properties as required, making beds, cleaning high areas such as fans, lights, cleaning low areas such as skirting boards

Cleaning glass and bbq's

packing linen as required

opening properties for guests arrivals and closing properties

stock take

call outs to assist guests
