About the role
The Training and Events Coordinator is responsible for co-ordinating the pre-event logistics and delivery of our training courses in both face-to-face and Zoom formats across Australia and online. This is a contract role for 10 months and you will be a part of a team of three.
We are looking for a passionate and proactive event coordinator who has a good eye for detail and enjoys working as part of a team.
Key responsibilities:
End to end coordination of the delivery of approximately 100 courses per year which are a part of the annual calendar, including:
- Book training rooms, organise catering and AV requirements
- Attend the office/training venue for all local state-based courses (approx. 15 days per year) and manage the course on-the-day with clients, facilitators/presenters and venue staff
- Hand over all course details and delivery of other state based events to team members
- Co-ordinate, introduce and trouble-shoot Zoom digital training sessions.
- Work with our presenters/ facilitators and schedule them to deliver appropriate courses.
- Manage student communication related to training events
- Maintain up-to-date course information and reporting of attendance numbers, financials and evaluation forms.
- Financial administration and management of expenses
- Extensive CRM management including maintaining contact information, adding events to the system and website, registering people onto courses, downloading and filtering reports and resolve customer enquiries by reviewing information on the CRM and Learning Management System.
- Present the opening and closing comments at state-based training and virtual zoom courses
- Support the overall success of the Delivery Team by assisting with customer enquiries received via the training inbox and training phone number.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years event coordination and/or Senior Administration experience
- Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in CRM systems including customer management, event management and invoicing.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on providing an outstanding experience for every customer.
- Confident in public speaking and dealing with multiple stakeholders at varying levels.
- Experience working with Excel and Ms Office
