The position available is for an sales consultant with a passion for customer service and sales that takes pride in what they do. Supporting our Regional Manager (Murray River Region), this role is more than just a job… It is a chance to be part of an exciting, rapidly growing organisation with a big vision for the future.
Key responsibilities for the position include but not limited to:
- Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service
- Internal sales, quoting, following up and closing deals mainly for Swimming Pools Direct, HALO products and upsells in the showroom
- Facilitate client appointments to complete sales presentations, assess sites online and provide advice regarding pool location, models, options and permit requirements etc
- Provide advice and guidance about our products to add value to the customers purchase journey
- Respond and follow up sales inquiries on the phone, via email and face-to-face with customers in a speedy and professional manner
- Liaison with all relevant stake holders including internal customer service, manufacturing and transport to ensure a smooth process for the client from end to end
- Ensuring all new and existing sales opportunities via phone, email, website or in person are actioned and entered in the CRM system in timely manner: HubSpot.
- Ensuring that individual dashboards are kept up to date
- Open communication with sales, client services, construction and manufacturing teams
- General administration duties including process deposits, issue invoices, assisting the sales team with administration, permit applications, construction schedules, milestone updates, project set up and purchase order generation
- Responsible for generating their own leads via personal branding in addition to leads generated by company marketing strategies
- Maintain the condition of showroom and display products, completing customer water testing
- Attendance at various industry consumer expos and events
- Coordinating and updating customers on delivery schedules after purchase
- General sales administration support
- Any additional duties as directed by the Direct Manager / supervisor
Requirements for the position include:
- Sales Experience: Previous sales or customer-facing experience is highly preferred. If you're eager to learn, we'll teach you the rest
- Interest in Pools & Spas: Experience with pool or spa products is an advantage but not required—we'll provide training for the right person.
- Team-Oriented: While you'll work independently, you thrive in a collaborative team environment and love to support others.
- Detail-Focused: Accuracy and attention to detail are key in every aspect of this role.
- Positive Attitude: A friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor that makes customers feel welcome and valued.
- Strong Communication Skills: You communicate clearly and confidently with customers and team members.
- Efficient & Organized: You can manage your time well, juggle multiple tasks, and stay on top of your responsibilities.This role requires a self motivated person who can work alone
