Business Analyst – Process Discovery (5-Week Contract)

Location: Scoresby, Victoria (Onsite Required)

Duration: 5 weeks (extensions possible)

Start Date: 20 October 2025 / ASAP

About the Role

We're seeking a hands-on Business Analyst to support a short-term discovery phase focused on mapping and documenting current operational processes. Working closely with the Discovery Lead, you'll capture real workflow behaviours, validate findings, and help identify process improvements and quick wins.

Experience & Capabilities

  • 5–8 years' experience as a Business Analyst within operational or service-delivery environments (e.g. logistics, utilities, facilities, waste management, or similar).
  • Proficiency in process documentation and workflow mapping (Visio, Miro, Lucidchart, or similar).
  • Strong experience conducting shadowing and observation-based discovery with minimal disruption to BAU.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills — confident with interviews, validation, and playback sessions.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify quick wins and improvement opportunities grounded in practical observation.
  • Familiarity with CRM, job management, or scheduling tools is advantageous.
  • Exposure to Lean or continuous improvement methodologies desirable.
