About This Role
At CAE, the Courseware Developer will work as part of the production team comprised of other developers, multimedia specialists, quality assurance personnel, web developers and Subject Matter Experts to build a full range of learning products from one-page job aids to full e-learning courseware programs or interactive 3-D simulations.
Developing training systems and developing lessons in courseware authoring software is the backbone of what we do, so your experience in these areas will be critical to our success.
The role we are offering you
- Design and develop CAE managed courseware and training materials
- Participate in review of training content to ensure adherence to development standards and requirements.
- Adhere to delivery schedules and report any issues arising within the schedule
- Collaborate with colleagues in sharing expertise and monitoring performance in tasks.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent experience
- Training or qualifications in the development of computer-based training
- Demonstrated understanding of ADF training policies and procedures
- Experience with Learning Content Management Systems and authoring tools
Location:
- Homebush, NSW
- We operate a hybrid working approach.
- Your role will involve some national and international travel

Security requirements
As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
