About us: The outer western region of our service includes extremely remote communities. Cairns Hospital is the only major referral hospital in Far North Queensland and also provides care for people from Cape York and the Torres Strait.
About your role:
Deliver contemporary speech pathology clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management within a multi-disciplinary team in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
Undertake routine clinical tasks with varying levels of supervision, in line with the Speech Pathology Department's work instructions and clinical procedures. Apply increasing independence with clinically complex scenarios and decision making as clinical skills and knowledge develop.
Meet relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of specific team e.g. Subacute Care Unit (SACU) as appropriate.
