ECT Team Leader

We are currently seeking an experienced and inspiring ECT Team Leader to join our exemplary service in North Ryde

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Rise Early Learning Epping Road as a full-time Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) while taking the lead in our Senior Preschool space (3–5 years). We're looking for a degree qualified Educator who can confidently guide the team, enhance structure and routine, and deliver meaningful learning experiences that support each child's goals and development. The ideal candidate will be strong in documentation and confident in leading a consistent, engaging environment where the RIE approach is thoughtfully embedded.

The Ideal Candidate Will Meet the Following Selection Criteria:

• Ready to implement contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy
• Open to our innovative and unique way of programming and practice
• Strong leader, inclusive of others, and brings a positive attitude everyday
• Interest in/passion for and motivation to actively embed and model the RIE approach
• Enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable professional who is relentless in the pursuit of excellence for children and willing to grow with the service
• Flair for building and maintaining positive relationships and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid NSW Working With Children Check
• Solid understanding of contemporary child safe practices
• Recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree, or working towards, depending on course progress
• Available for full-time work, all hours the service is operational, and able to be flexible as required
• Strong mentoring and/or leadership experience (desirable), paired with significant experience as an Early Childhood Teacher and/or Educator (essential), especially with the Preschool age group
• Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates, Food Safety and Child Protection training, with a recognised course code for Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or willing to obtain/refresh as required).
