Emergency Services Officer

Assignment Details:
- Location: Yarrabee Mine (near Blackwater, QLD)
- Dates: Ongoing
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts – day and night
- Roster: Casual contract with opportunity for future ongoing work
- Travel: DIDO – travel time not paid
- Meals and accommodation provided on site
- Pay: Above award flat rates + overtime/callout where applicable
What You Will Need:
- Coal Board Medical (Section 4) for Emergency Responder roles (must be current)
- Standard 11 – Surface Induction
- Certificate III in Mines Rescue or higher
- HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drug testing
- RIIVEH201E – Operate a light vehicle on mine sites
- PUAEME005A – Administer emergency first aid medications
- Minimum 12 months experience working in the mining industry
Duties Will Include:
- Provide onsite emergency medical response
- Assist the Emergency Response Team (ERT)
- Operate the site ambulance and fire truck
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing
- Support inductions, emergency drills, and safety procedures
- Perform gatehouse and security duties as required
