Hair By The Collective is seeking a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year apprentice (hairdresser) to join our team.  We would like to also welcome a Junior Stylist, who is prepared to take their career to the next level. Are you a stylist looking to take control of your career?  Our beautiful modern salon has chair rentals available.

Our salon focuses on delivering beautiful hair and outstanding customer service.  The salon is located on the busy corner of Lisburn St. and Stanley St. E in East Brisbane, just 1km from the CBD.  We are a unique, ambient space for clients to receive the absolute best in hairstyling. As a team we are supportive, enjoy a harmonious work environment and seek those with the same values. We are self-motivated, fashion conscious, and driven.

About You

JUNIOR or EMERGING HAIRDRESSER:

  • You are truly passionate, creative and above all committed to be the best
  • All levels welcomed
  • You are a preferably multi-talented – cutting, colouring, styling
  • You are well presented and highly motivated
  • You are focused and enjoy being a part of a busy performance team
  • Outstanding customer and communication skills

APPRENTICE:

  • 1ST, 2ND, or 3RD YEAR
  • You have a genuine love of hair and of people
  • You are best suited to working in a strong team with a focus on learning and perfecting the craft
  • You are punctual, honest, reliable, and well-presented
  • Ultimately, you genuinely want to be a part of a successful team, and you are prepared to do what it takes to see your apprenticeship through
