About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join HANARO MART' as an Area Manager, overseeing multiple retail locations in the Melbourne area. As an Area Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the operational excellence and strategic growth of this dynamic retail business. This full-time position will see you based primarily in the Melbourne CBD/Chadstone/Oakleigh/Epping/Knox, with regular visits to our retail sites across the region.

What you'll be doing

  1. Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for a portfolio of HANARO MART' retail stores
  2. Implement effective store-level policies, procedures and controls to optimise performance, profitability and customer service
  3. Partner with store managers to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that drive footfall and increase revenue
  4. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, providing regular reporting and recommendations to senior leadership

What we're looking for

  1. Substantial experience as an Area Manager or similar senior retail leadership role
  2. Proven track record of driving operational excellence and financial performance across a multi-site retail network
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  4. Thorough understanding of retail industry trends, best practices and compliance requirements
