About usAbout the roleDuties
  • Collaborate departments to streamline processes, resolve issues, and achieve organisational goals
  • Oversee daily operations, including grain handling, storage, and receiving activities
  • Monitor KPI's and report on operational metrics to management.
  • Planning and co-ordinating of grain operations to meet or better the agreed targets, which will include safety, quality systems and efficiency targets.
  • Build strong relationships with local grower customers
  • The effective co-ordination and safe management of all bulk commodity handling, storage, protection, and movement activities at the site
  • Supporting the development and implementation of processes to ensure that existing, permanent, and portable capital infrastructure and equipment is maintained
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
  • There may be a requirement to travel occasionally between the sites.
About you
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse workforce.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in supervising a team.
  • Relevant operational experience, preferably gained in a bulk grain handling environment.
  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
