About the Role
The Professional Services team undertakes the delivery of services sold to Canon's business customers. This may include implementations of hardware and software solutions, Project management and other consultancy services. Provide pre-sales technical support to the Sales teams on Canon and 3rd party Hardware and Software solutions as required. This role reports to the Manager – Professional Services & offers high degree of flexibility in operating, it may be based from NSW or QLD.
Scope of Role
- Implementation of Canon solutions
- implementation of solutions for customers incorporating both Canon and 3rd party products, ensuring any proposed solution is technically correct and meets the customer requirements
- Workshops, scoping and solution formation around Canon and partner products
- Ensure customer facing Projects Productivity and Efficiency on average are 100%
- Identify, document and report to Sales Change Requests and New Opportunities
- Provision of technical support to the Sales team during the pre-sales process
- Keep track of billable hours and feed information through to line Manager via relevant system
- Develop, maintain and implement methodologies and standards within the Professional Services team
- Coach other Services team members and Sales team in areas of expertise
- Project management of large implementations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have IT background & experience in managing projects. You would also possess a high level of understanding and application of most of the following: - Imaging, Document Management, Workflow and / or similar technologies, Production Printing and Colour Management. a high level of understanding and application of some or all of Imaging, Document Management, Workflow and / or similar technologies, Production Printing and Colour Management. You would have proven ability to meet targets and deadlines effectively across multiple simultaneous project. Key Skills & Experience include –
- Minimum 5 years work experience in Information Technology, IT systems integration and/or Consulting;
- Able to contribute in a number of technical & consulting areas to complex customer situations & solutions.
- In depth knowledge of and experience with Standard IT environments and the protocols used.
- In depth knowledge of printing / imaging solutions with experience in Pre-Sales preferred.
- Reasonably high level of business and organisational understanding, as applied in the consulting and development environment.
It is highly desirable for them to possess experience as below:
- Working with SQL Server (or other RDBMS) as well as design, implement, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas to support application features and reporting needs.
- Developing and maintaining web applications using JavaScript for dynamic frontend functionality.
- Developing and maintaining service applications using C# (.NET).
- Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs to connect the application with internal systems and third-party services, ensuring secure and efficient data flow.
- Conducting code reviews and adhere to best practices in object-oriented programming and coding standards.
- Implementing business rules and workflows within document management system (DMS) and configuration tools provided by the system.
