POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced
Azure DevOps (ADO) and Microsoft Teams Engineer
to design, implement, and optimise integration solutions that enhance collaboration, automation, and productivity across our development teams. This role will involve managing CI/CD pipelines, developing Teams bots and extensions to surface Azure DevOps data, and configuring real-time sync between Teams channels and ADO for critical alerts and updates. You will also maintain security roles, ensure membership synchronisation, and deliver training to drive adoption of best practices. With a strong background in DevOps and Teams integration, you will play a key role in streamlining our Agile workflows and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Design and implement integration solutions between **Azure DevOps** and **Microsoft Teams** to enhance collaboration and automation.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines (Build/Release), ensuring efficient code flow, with Teams notifications for critical statuses.
  • Develop Teams Bots, Messaging Extensions, or Tabs to display Azure DevOps data (Work Items/Boards).
  • Configure automatic sync between Teams channels & Azure DevOps (e.g., PR alerts, build failure notifications).
  • Maintain Azure DevOps security roles and Teams membership synchronization.
  • Document solutions and train development teams on tool usage.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years in DevOps or Teams integration with proven automation cases.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tooling support.
  • Preferred: Microsoft Certifications (e.g., AZ-400 DevOps or MS-600 Teams Development) and .NET/Python development skills for custom extensions.
