The Opportunity: Planner/Scheduler

We're seeking a meticulous and experienced Planner/Scheduler to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role ensures flawless project execution by crafting robust schedules, monitoring progress, and optimizing resource allocation. Your expertise will uphold our commitment to delivering projects punctually, within scope, and budget. Currently, Liberty Industrial is embarking on a series of high-profile demolition projects in the Northern Territory, making this an exceptional opportunity for qualified candidates.

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and oversee project schedules utilizing Primavera P6.
  • Create and update the 3-week lookahead, internal target, and contract programs.
  • Track progress through on-site activity completion for quantity and man-hour reports.
  • Provide comprehensive project updates to the Project Director and Manager, covering progress, timeframes, costs, and contractual milestones.
  • Support in crafting weekly and monthly reports, including program updates and S-curve analysis for internal and client review.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather essential project information.
  • Ensure compliance with client document control protocols and maintain professional client relations.

Skills and Experiences:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Primavera P6.
  • Willingness to participate in on-site activities, including site walks with Site Supervisors and Project Engineers.
  • Strong prioritization skills with a keen eye for detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork.
  • Minimum 5 years of Planning/Scheduling experience, preferably in construction, mining, or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry and associated methodologies is advantageous.
  • Experience with power BI (advantageous)
